Ohhoooo~ It's that time again folks, yet another commission for my friend It's his breloom character, Loki. LOKI IS SO COOL FFFFFF he's my fav of BBC's team.

Hmmm but, I'm a bit torn on how this one came out, honestly...As a sculpture I'm pretty pleased but, I don't think it looks much like the character it's supposed to be. I included a pic of Loki at the top so you can see what I mean. What do you guys think?

I made this while at my grandma's house, and I didn't have a computer handy to look at the ref pic. I remembered that Loki was kinda dino-like, so that's what I went with. But when I came home and looked at the ref pic, I realized that I had made Loki way too bulky looking- he was supposed to be thin and skinny but I had given him a lot of muscles. I also didn't give him enough spines on his frill and his 'hat' was too small.

And then when he was baking the clay leaned to the left, something that has never happened to me...but because of that his left leg kinda sags a bit. :<

BBC said he liked it but, as the sculptor there is a lot I wish I had done differently. I have never made a dinosaur before so, I guess this was just a learning experience. If I had to grade myself on this I'd probably give myself a B.



IN OTHER NEWS, THE STUFF I LIKE-

The mouth came out great, he has tons of little teeth and also those skin flap things in his jaw that dinos have, yeah....looks AWESOME. Oh and after I took most of these pics i realized that I had forgotten to add his facial markings XDDDDD So I went back and added em and you can see them in the close up pic of his face down below.

SO YEAH but BBC, maybe some day I'll make a 'Loki Version 2', and then this guy can have a Mini Mi or something
