Manson the Honchkrow sculptureby ~Iron-Zing

Here's the first BSC sculpture prize I did for ~mercurybird of her Honckrow, Manson= [link]

I've never sculpted a bird before, which is weird since they are my favorite animal XD But since I have never made wings before I tried stylizing them a bit, maybe next time I can try a more realistic approach. But I think these wings look pretty good too.

Manson's original design was all black with white outlines. Since sculptures obviously don't have outlines, I tried to mimic Kenzi's style by putting some white highlights on various places around his body, such as the feathers and cheeks and things.

The hat was pretty hard to recreate in sculpture form though, I did my best but I'm on the edge with how it came out.

But overall I've very pleased with the results! He was so complex that I had to make half of him, bake him so the details wouldn't get messed up, and then sculpt the rest of him. Never had to do that before, but it worked out well.

Hope ya like him Kenzi! Carver still needs to be painted but he's coming soon~
